There are no shortcuts and no assembly lines. Each batch is poured, cured for several weeks, then hand-cut and inspected before it reaches you.
This is what small-batch actually means: fewer bars, more care, and a product made the way skincare used to be made before mass production became the default.

- Will this work for sensitive skin?
Yes. This bar is free from sulfates, synthetic fragrances, parabens, and artificial dyes, which are the four most common irritants in commercial soap. The formula is based on olive oil, one of the most skin-compatible oils available. If you have a known allergy to any listed ingredient, please review the full ingredient list above before purchasing. - I see ‘lye’ in the ingredients. Is that safe?
Completely safe. Lye (sodium hydroxide) is a necessary part of the cold-process soap-making reaction called saponification. Once the process is complete, no lye remains in the finished bar because it has been fully converted into soap and glycerin. Every cold-process soap on the market uses this same process. - How long will this bar last?
Typically, 4–6 weeks with daily use. The single biggest factor is drying between uses. Keep it on a drying soap dish away from standing water, and it will last significantly longer. - How strong is the scent? Will it be overpowering?
The scent is noticeable during use, without being heavy or perfumey. Think fresh and refined, not loud. It fades naturally after rinsing. Because these are small-batch, scent intensity may vary slightly between batches, but always stays within a pleasing range. - Why does my bar look different from the photo?
Each bar is hand-poured and cut individually, so natural variation in color, pattern, and shape is expected and intentional. You are not getting a factory bar. You are getting a handcrafted one. The variation is part of what makes it authentic. - Can I use this on my face?
Many customers do. The formula is gentle enough for facial use, especially for normal to dry skin types. If you have very oily or acne-prone skin, we recommend starting with our Grapefruit and French Rose Clay bar, which is formulated specifically for that skin concern. - Do you ship nationally?
